The “Advertising” section is intended for the placement of materials of an advertising or commercial nature, provided that they comply with the legislation of the Russian Federation (in particular, Federal Law No. 38-FZ of 13 March 2006 “On Advertising”), the editorial policy and these requirements.

The placement of advertising materials is permitted subject to the following conditions:

  • their clear separation from editorial content;
  • the presence of appropriate labelling in accordance with Article 18.1 of the Law on Advertising, including the transmission of data to the Unified Register of Internet Advertising (ERIR) through advertising data operators (ADOs) and the placement of a unique identifier (ERID token);
  • agreement on the format, timing and terms of placement with the editorial board;
  • the absence of information that may mislead users;
  • the provision by the advertiser of all necessary data and documents for the labelling of advertising in the manner prescribed by law;
  • compliance with the requirements for advertising established by applicable law, including restrictions on content, timing and methods of distribution.

The following is prohibited:

  • the placement of advertising on information resources of foreign agents, as well as advertising of such resources, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation;
  • the distribution of advertising containing information that defames the honour, dignity or business reputation of third parties;
  • the placement of advertising that violates the requirements of Federal Law “On Advertising” or other regulatory legal acts.

The editorial board reserves the right to refuse the placement of advertising material without providing reasons, if such material does not comply with the editorial policy, legislation or these requirements. The editorial board shall not be liable for the content of advertising materials, nor for any consequences arising from their use by users.
